First Polish

I went through and, using my own advice, added some simple art to jazz things up a little, and I think I'll end up using the announce icon as my recurring icon for the project.

It's also been pointed out that I should add some reference to setting up a forum, so that's probably the next step.

Rob, you're setting out to demonstrate how to make something look professional, right?

So you really urgently need to edit your text where the sentences change direction partway through or have words missing. Which they do in several places.

*laughs*

The whole thing needs an editing sweep something fierce, since it was really just one long writing session, but point well taken.

Rob - nice page and concept.

I would encourage people to invest in an actual domain name, mainly for portability - you can move your web presesnce to wherever you want it and just change the redirection. (Ditto for email, which a lot of people don't realise is covered by the domain.)

You mention looking at forums - do include Yahoo groups as an easy and free option.

I've done a little bit of web design. The biggest bit of advice I can offer is to put oneself in the position of the user. Explain what needs to be explained, have a section structure that makes sense so that when they go looking for stuff it's where they expect, etc.
